ROLES

RESPONSIBILITIES.

Make and approve Wichana policies;

Set Wichana’s goals and objectives;

Plan Wichana’s future;

Authorize any and all agreements and contracts

Create and approve Wichana’s budget;

Create and approve committees and their members;

To actively promote the work of the foundation through social media, participation in community outreach, in-kind gift and cash donation solicitation, special event planning, fundraising campaigns, opening doors to potential donors and representing the foundation at public events and meetings;

Take care of Wichana’s headquarters;

Hire, supervise and if necessary, dismiss consultants and staff;

Attend Wichana Board meetings;

Approve Wichana Board meeting minutes;

Review committee reports at Board meetings;

To keep the foundation focused on our mission, always assessing whether our actions and decisions are in alignment with that mission;

To ensure that the foundation is in compliance with applicable regulations and is operating at the highest standards of financial accountability.
